Information you give us

When you contact us by email, by phone, or through the form on our contact page: your name, work email, company, team size, phone number and your message. The contact form opens your own email app with these details filled in; we receive them only if you send that email.
When you use the chat on our website: the messages you send and any details you choose to share, such as your name or email address.
When you sign up for text messages: your mobile phone number, the other details the sign-up form asks for, and a record of your consent, such as when you gave it and the wording you agreed to.
When you become a customer: account details such as your name, email address and company, and the billing information needed to process payment.

Information collected automatically

Analytics. Our website uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to tell us how visitors use the site: for example, the pages viewed, how they arrived, and their device, browser and approximate location.
Server logs. Like most websites, our servers record basic technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time.

Information our customers store in Maxwelo

Our customers use Maxwelo to manage their own contacts, calls, text messages and emails. We process that information on our customers’ behalf and under their instructions. If you were contacted by a business that uses Maxwelo, please contact that business about your information.

To send the text messages and emails you asked for or agreed to receive.
To provide, support and bill for the Maxwelo service.
To understand how our website is used and to improve it.

Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in to Maxwelo text messages, we use your mobile number and your consent record to send the messages you agreed to receive, which may include sales follow-ups, appointment reminders, service information, product announcements, and promotional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance.

SMS opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers solely to deliver communications on our behalf, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection requirements.

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or for longer if the law requires. We keep records of text-message consent and opt-outs so that we can show that we respect your choices.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Maxwelo is a service for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
